Duette (Dutch Dream x Lyons Fleurette)
Duette is a Warmblood x Thoroughbred mare, 1997. Owned since 2003 and competed in Endurance by Delwyn Hall mostly but also by Abbi Tennant for some of the longer distances.
Duette is head of the herd and spends much of her time bossing Shandy around. Duette is a easy mare to ride and is good in all respects. She will often to be used when taking the youngsters out to act as 'Nanny'.
Abbi started riding Duette in Show Jumping and Cross Country at Pony Club level. In 2005, Abbi and Duette competed in their first race ride together at Cirencester Park 80km Young Rider. The pair completed the race during a 33 degree heat with Abbi suffering from dehyrdration and heat stroke to come into 3rd place.
Since 2005 Abbi has continued to ride Duette up to 40 miles, although Delwyn mostly rides Duette.
Duette has completed 2,124km in total within endurance.
Duette was sold to Hannah Rowlands in April 2011. Good Luck and all the best in her new home.

Bryndulais Nia (Khan Owain x Bryndulais Queen)
When Abbi bought Nia she was already at Intermediate level in Endurance. Within their first year of competition Abbi flew through the ranks with Nia and by the end of 2004 (Abbi's first year of Endurance) both Nia and Abbi were at Advanced level.
Abbi not only competed Nia at Endurance but also in Pony Club and locally at Show Jumping, Cross Country, Dressage and Le Trec. Nia was not an easy pony to start out on due to her spookiness and being very wise to being able to get her own way, but Abbi learnt quickly how to judge Nia's attitude.
Abbi and Nia were only together for 2 years (2003-2005) due to Abbi quickly outgrowing her. But through this short time Abbi and Nia won and were placed in many classes. A particular highlight was coming first in the Natives Showing Class at a local event where they were awarded with a rosette and trophy. The photograph of the pair was featured in one of the riding magazines in the year of 2004.
In 2005 Nia was sold onto another rider where she continued to be competed in jumping but not in Endurance.

Peanuts
Peanuts was an 11.2hh Welsh Pony who was bought as a companion for Abbi's horses when she took the two competing and left one at home.
Peanuts previously had been a pony at the local Riding for Disabled Yard and Abbi provied Peanuts with a retirement home. Abbi's younger cousins, when they came to visit, would enjoy spending time riding and grooming him and giving him the lots of attention.
Peanuts was only with Abbi for a short time due to him suffering from laminitis. The heartbreaking decision was made for Peanuts to be PTS at the start of 2011 due to him not improving. The comforting memories are of seeing him cantering around the field after Barik trying to keep up.
